I was about to make a post concerning this topic, but I thought I should post here then. Since you own a Sprint 2, do you happen to know if they share the same exact chassis as the Sprint 1? Hard to tell from the photos on the HPI website. I just wanted to know since I want to buy hop ups for my Sprint but all the parts they make are for the Sprint 2 now. Just wanted to know if the Sprint 2 Carbon Fiber chassis was compatible with the first Sprint.

In terms of Drifting, I got the Sprint 1 last summer of 05. I basically set the suspension with soft setting in the back and kept the front the way it was out of the box. Just from random stuff I've read on other RC forums. Also I kept the stock motor in there that came with the kit and was basically drifting right after I got it. I have yet experimented with gearing so I'll post if I ever find anything interesting.

Is the steering pretty good with the Sprint 2? The Sprint had some sloppy steering, noticed the plastic turnbuckles seemed too tight. Have yet found the time to find a fix for it.
