In any case, what I said was, as long as an RTR X basically needs a total rebuild right away, then it makes about as much sense as a T-MAXX.. And no, I don't for one second think it's unrealistic to expect a Savage to be tough out of the box - which is what you were insinuating oh-so-subtly with your U2 comment..
I have yet to encounter any RTR I wouldn't rip apart as soon as i opened the box. S25, S21, SLE, or SX, even an LST/LST2/Aftershock, an MGT, or a Revo. all the X really NEEDS is a good clutch.
