Default 9C supper throtle and elevator mix ?

My trainer is very sensitive to throtle. Trimed at mid range, I cut the throtle and the nose pitches over and I start dropping, If it go to max throtle, the nose lifts and I really start climbing.

I thought I could do a mix between throtle and elevator, IE as the throtle closed, there is more up elevator trim and visa versa. I set up Prog. Mix1 up so throtle is master and elevator is slave, controled by switch A. Now I get confused, There is a "Rate" on page 1/2 with an up arrow and a down arrow. I am assuming that on the down arrow that if i set the rate to +3%, then when I go low throtle, I'll give the elevator 3% more up trim. I have the up arrow set to - 3%. Do I have the right concept on how this works?

Also, there is an "offset" on this page, it is at 50%. What does this do in my example?

On page 2/2, there is and option for "link", what is this for?

I have gone through the manual and can't find a reference to my questions, although I may be overlooking them.

Thank you for your help

Don.
