mid wing's are the odd ball... most will balance right side up... some need to be up side down to make it easier. Keep in mind EITHER way will give you the correct CG given you have the right measurement... it's just easier to balance most low wing and some mid wing planes up side down due to more weight above the wing... the balance point is still the same.
