or if you don't want to hang 'em by the tail, hang 'em by the landing gear, i hang all my "ready to fly planes" from the ceiling just to keep 'em out of the way. i generally use two peices of small rope, one around the prop nut and one around the fuse back around the horizontal stabilizer. if you want you can take pipe insulation and run the rope through that to pad the rope against the monokote but i've never had a problem with the rope against the monokote.
