This has made my research into gassers so much easier. I hate that manufacturers do stupid crap like what aerobob mentioned. It just makes it harder for customers to figure out what the hell they're looking at.

Silver - one of the purposes of my data is to demonstrate the "real world" operations weights.... and that is where all the mystique about "lighter" goes away. Newbies in particular have difficulty sorting through all the manufacturer's data because it is so "non standardized". There's even a manufacturer that publishes their motor weights WITHOUT prop bolt or washer, and no spark plug because it makes their stuff look "lighter".
