Some BS stipulation about being a moderator:

They want you to respond to user inquiries about threads getting off topic or people being argumentative in threads.

It's sometimes more fun to let the guys argue--I even get in on it more than I should sometimes. I don't know how I ever landed this job. I can be a first class A-hole sometimes too. Not proud of it, but I'm human. [sm=red_smile.gif] I don't like deleting posts and I am lucky in that I haven't ever shut a thread down. I don't want to either. It's a big stick--but I try to hide it and carry it as softly and low to the ground as I can. I enjoy volunteering the time and contributing to the site more than just offering up useless opinions. But, it has it's days when it'll drive ya nuts.

But, when someone complains--I'm obligated to intervene or they'll cut my pay. Wait a minute!! I don't get paid for this!! [:@]
