I used two motors off a Aero Ace jet. I did not add the additional battery. The plane last about 90% of the time of the original. I also have know added apx 2.5 inches to the wing span on both sides and 3 inches to the length by pulling out the straw body. The last mod I made was removing the spring from the throttle. This helps maintain even flight. So far so good. Flight # 24 coming up.
