Put a 2.5R on it. Stay with Traxxas. You have already proved how reliable it has been, and its a simple swap to make. I did it on mine and love it all the more. My 2.5R, rebuilt was only $76 including shipping on eBay. Keep your Traxxas all Traxxas or you will regret it.
Why go through all the mods whey you can have a bad *****, extremely reliable engine almost drop right in?
