Have to get my planes ready for the weekend, another annual fly-in,camp out,pig-out. I would sure love to do a hovering tail touch with everybody there but it depends a lot on wind for me,I've tried to move it around in a hover and can just barely manage that when its calm, cant imagine pulling that off in any kind of wind. The rolling harriers are really slow compared to some videos I've seen but I've done them down to about 20 ft,that slow pace makes it easier, safer to get lower. I dont think I'll ever try to do'em like Kyle does, one tiny mistake at that speed& height-its all over.
Hey Mix, You're making me jealous with the Fly-in, camp out, pig-out stuff. I wish I could do that........[>:] I let a guy at our club fly my Do sometimes and I'll have to say it does some fine rolling harriers. I'll have to practice so I can do them myself.
