You could also punch some holes with hole-punch in the cards for more "Bite"..

I think you'll get much better spins from the newer airfoil. But keep in mind Deltas are pretty stable airframes to begin with. You may be able to move the CG back some more....but keep in mind the elevator is gonna get REALLY sensitive....dial out some of the elevator mix.
