CU I dont know if you remembered when I ask about that spacing between the drivecups and the trans unit, But I had them pushed to tight up against the trans unit and tighten them. After I did that it felt like some thing was grinding also, would not roll smooth. Maybe thats what he did, I think you said about 1/16 space between the drive cups and the trans unit.
