Yes, I noticed a big difference going from the 3-bladed prop to the 2-bladed with my Alpha RTF; it flew with much more authority and my instructor liked it a lot better too. I tried both the 10x6 and 11x5 props and I liked the 11x5 better because it did slow down nicer for landing. When I put by 2-bladed spinner on, I also had a problem with the flywheel on the prop driver and the spinner not going together nicely. The solution I used was to just knock the flywheel off the prop driver. Doing this also eliminated the issue of snapping props when there was a prop strike with the ground.
