I know there are a few of us out there that have this setup and now that Bob has requested that his thread be closed I figured I would start a new one for the rest of us.

That said, I have my 40GT (its actually the same engine that Bob had, bought it used from Scott) in my yak and have already test fired it. The engine seems to run fine but shakes quiet a bit. I contacted Scott and he said that the synco spark module would make it shake a bit less so I ordered it. Between the timing and carb tuning I expect this engine to be about the same as my 1.60 in the vibration department.

Right now I'm running a apc 18x6w prop I had laying around just to load it for initial testing, but I'm waiting for both Xoar and Skorepa 20x8 props to see which one is better. I also have a very light battery coming so I hope to have everything together and flying by this weekend.

For the spinner I just ordered [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJUN5&P=Z]one of these[/link] because it is cheap and should fit just fine once I get the bolt for the front. It's backordered so I'll run without a spinner until it comes.

For the rest of you running this setup, have you flown it yet? You happy with the setup? Also, are you guys using the carb stack?
