Default Peck Polymers Genesis build

I've had this kit for a few years now, framed up the wings a while back, put in on a shelf, and finally brought it out again, inspired to finish it this time. Pic shows the current state of the airplane. The kit wasn't bad, die cutting was fair, and there is a lot of carving and sanding to do on the fuselage, but it's so small that it's quick to accomplish. I'm at the point where I need to decide on the control system. Elevons are an obvious requirement, but the rudder is optional. I'm open to thoughts on if the rudder is even necessary on this plane and if so how to hook it up (coupled to ailerons or not). If used, the manual states 40-45 deg's throw each way (!!!). And it's a big rudder. All or nothing I guess! As far as elevon mixing goes, you can use radio mixing, the dubro mixer, or build a sliding tray.
