if you really find no solution then you can buy a spektrum module and rx for the 3PK for $160. I mean I think it is just bad luck. I have a cheapo $40 airtronics blazer with my novak 4.5R and GTB and it works fine. The rx is right next to the ESC. Try shortening the motor wires, twisting the sensor wires and then putting the retainer on them. Twisting the motor wires, power wires too. Mount the rx away from the motor or ESC. If you are using a high drain servo (digital or high torque/speed) try using a standard servo to see if the rx is getting enough power.
