I'm not sure a Staggerwing would be a good second plane. Is the Cub your first plane and what size is it? I have some experience with biplanes and they are typically heavier and need to carry a significant amount of power in flight especially when landing. A biplane, and expecially a round cowl biplane, will have a lot more drag than the Cub you are used to flying. It will slow down quickly and not float like a flat bottom winged monoplane. The Staggerwing is a beauty and I bet it will be a good flyer (I'm going to get one

) but get some more experience under your belt before attempting this type of aircraft. It will save you some frustration and money.
