This is not something we have seen with normal use of these transmitters here in the Futaba Service Center.
I would definitely get this sent in as soon as possible.

I've been using my 7CAP for well over 18 months now, with moderate use.
I turned it on tonight to check a function on one of my planes. To my surprise, there was no display. It remained blank. The radio controlled the aircraft as expected (on the bench, of course) and the battery still had plenty of voltage left (I checked). After several seconds, the display did come on and the unit functioned normally
Is this a common problem? I've never seen it before. I'm curious if you have, and whether the fix is an easy one, or something very complex. Of course, I can't trust the radio right now and have to send it in for service.
I am just curious about what I might possibly expect.
