When you place an object that big at that point on the wing you block a good bit of the air from hitting the tail surfaces.
This is a real problem on a tail dragger at takeoff and landing.
Rout the exhaust off to one side of the plane and mount the camcorder to the main gear against the fuse.
This is the idea place for the camera.
