Default RE: Fuel tank/motor issues.... Again...

RC30GTR - We all run the stock tanks at the Silver State. With the new ROAR Rules though, 220cc is no longer legal at any race. So most of the CEN Racing team has switched to the spyder tank (which is 175cc rating, or the legal limit).

Everyone - Even with the larger tank, our drivers haven't reportd problems. We belive this is the case because they are advanced level r/c hobbyist. They understand the changing dynamics of nitro engines and that nitro powered ANYTHING will require constant vigilance if optimum performance is desired. Racing or bashing.

This is true with any manufacture.

Also our engine is unique in the car/truck industry. No one is even close to the .46 in size. It is more of a small airplane motor stuffed into a truck. So tuning this beast is different from anything else you will tune in a car or truck. Saying that your LST and Savage doesn't have the same problems is comparing an apple to an orange.

It takes patience to get things right. We recommend getting the engine warm first then begin to tune from a FULL TANK and get your temps around 220-230. Buy then end of the tank the temp will have risen to 250-260 and maximum power. I really don't see an issue with this.
