G'day Glitch, were you at Mangalore? Yeah, the trim sabre is for both d/f and turbine. I bought my Engine whilst on holidays in Thailand, but it is the same as that advertised in the Aussie mags, except that the controller has been updated and I think the rpm sensor may have also changed, but you will have to check that.

I almost always fly from grass and its a lottery sometimes because of the poor/dry conditions of our fields during this drought time. I bend the occasional strut because of this, but generally speaking, outings are trouble free. If your patch is reasonably smooth you will have no problems getting airborne.
