Vic your cares are NOTHING! I re-kitted my Magnum today after the engine seized... (see thread called something like, magnum thrashed West-50 toasted)
I am so p-i-s-s-e-d I dunno what to do... I was laughing all day with Pops cuz my biggest concern was the launch and my 81 Y.O. dad. Launch was PERFECT, took quite a bit of elevator to fly level, engine seized before I could even BEGIN trimming her... Nose heavy full of fuel, no elevator left for flairing---turns out... I pulled a little more on the stick but
Whip flight #1 was great... #2, Pops held her up and when I BEGAN to advance the throttle to WFO he tossed her (1/2 throttle maybe?) I killed the engine and the Whip went through the pilot line safety net, breaking a rudder-fin. (Easy fix but bad day!)
