ive run in 30* weather where the water was probably in the 20's.... you may just have to put a ziptie on the water line feeding into the head and cut off a bit of the flow so it will allow the motor to get up to temp.
That's a good trick. That 20 degree water must be pretty tough on the prop and the rudder .
just a guestimate I know it was 37* when i went out to the pond to run...and the water was damn sure cold when i had to swim out to get my boat.
