Default Cheapest 3D electric backyard flyer setup?

I have zero electric experience and little knowledge of how to build a power plant for one. They confuse me to no end. I would like a smaller 3D airplane to fly in my backyard. I have no fancy charger. I am looking for something that I can play with in my backyard for relatively cheap. The cheapest I have come up with so far is about $225 (and a need a fancy charger for Lipos), I know a brushed motor is way cheaper, but nobody recommends them anymore.

Tower:

LXJRY2 Great Planes LiPo 7.4V 1250mAh 2S 15C Discharge Deans 34.99
LXJVC2 Ultrafly Model B/06/12 Brushless Motor 49.99
LXKZB4 Futaba S3110 Micro High Torq Servo 7.7g 3@ 14.99
LX1683 APC 9x4.7 Slo-Flyer Propeller 2.49
LXKYF1 Ultrafly Model Radix 3D EP ARF 28.3" 29.99
LXKSY4 Great Planes Silver Series 25A Brushless ESC 5V/2A BEC 39.99
LXCRK1 Great Planes ElectriFly 4Ch FM Rx 72MHz Hi w/o Crystal 24.99

$227

I could save about $30 by going with their combo which has a smaller motor 1/4 size battery, but that doesn't seem worth it. I bet the smaller battery wouldn't even give 3 minute flights.

Is that pretty much the cheapest I can get a descent 3D electric for or is there something else I could do?
