Default Pattern flying additional information

Here at RC Universe pattern is included in the following forum:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forumdispl...?s=&forumid=31

It includes 3D and IMAC and Pattern. This was one forum and recently split into the three. As in the above post NSRCA deals with the "Pattern" events with planes designed specifically to perform those maneuvers. IMAC is scale aerobatics with planes that are models of full scale aircraft. The manuvers performed are called a sequence. Both "Pattern" and "IMAC" fly a set of maneuvers called a sequence. See more information regarding IMAC at www.mini-iac.com

3D is also called freestyle and is quite a part of IMAC. It is becoming a part of pattern to an extent. The term "Artistic Aerobatics" is also used. 3D stands for 3 dimensional which probably wasn't the best description however it stuck. Many maneuvers are performed "post-stall" when the plane really should't be flying. Extreme control throws allow vectoring thrust to keep the plane in the air.

Welcome to the wonderful world of flight.
