Each wing is 31". I left 2 1/2 inches of wing tip for each aileron, so they were shortened by that much. I didn't shorten the inboard section. I hope this leaves enough tip area for stability. I did the same thing on the elevators. I left the rudder stock.

I'm sure that the big surfaces will make the plane responsive enough. From what I've read, it makes the plane fly smoother and groove smoother. I could see how touchy the Widebody 40 was. I had a lot of expo for softer responses around the center. The plane would go quickly when it went and I'm hoping for a larger zone of smooth reactions. Thee is still a lot of aileron and elevator there for quick responses....I think.
