Default RE: SV27 Battery Thread

Has anyone had any luck running the spetacularly cheap Tenergy batteries from all-battery.com? I have 4 packs of 3500mah on the way, they were only $50 for all 4! I've seen pretty good reviews of them from other people, but I wonder what they'll do in the SV27.

On the topic of IB batteries, here's a pic of the IB 3600 packs I ran the day my motor fried. They were brand new stick packs on their first charge. I knew the puny tabs connecting them might get a little warm, but this is ridiculous. Those packs had a hell of a punch, I'm sure the extra voltage they dumped out was part or the reason the motor got so hot. Imagine what 7 cell IB packs would have done!

I have since soldered them into side by side packs with deans bars, and heavier gauge wire.
That is probably the best justification for upgrading to Deans 12g wire and real connector bars on your packs.
Rooski[sm=thumbup.gif] That is exactly why I don't like stick packs. I always run flat side by side packs with good battery bars and 12awg wires and deans connectors. Especially on high amp draw applications.
PS aren't those the intellect cells? I didn't know those were the IB cells
