RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
OK, I have been reading this thread for days and man is there a lot of good info in here! I now have a UCD3D.46 in the box in the shop awaiting a build this fall sometime along with a Saito 82 to power it. I do have a couple of questions though for those that are in the know like you fellas. The first one is is probably for Gary since I know he flies JR stuff. How did you reverse your other Elevator servo? Did you buy a reversed one, reverse it yourself, mix it with the radio, or use a reversing Y? Also, I see that many of you are using clear Monocote to seal the control surfaces to help reduce flutter. My question is how are you all getting the covering to be tight and clean but still let the surface flex? Are you ironing it down into the joint while the surface is flexed or??? Anyone have any pictures of their clear monocote job? Thanks everyone and I look forward to getting her built!
