"Yes, you CAN make an AME out of a Big Mig by installing an AME cylinder and piston. But be aware though, that the .049 and .06 cylinders are not interchangeable. You can swap .049 and .06 cranks as they'll fit but the .06 has more throw. If you install one into the other, you'll change the timing AND the compression ratio. Finally, .049 and .06 rods are a different length. "

Hi Andy ,Have you ever Tried making a Stroker between those 2 size of engines.I suppose there`s not much point, to do that ,unless, you had 2 buggered engines, that you wanted to make 1 working engine out of..
