Default RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

AKFireMedic... I do the same as Barry on sealing the hinges.... Here's a pic hope
you can see it ok.... Or close to the same... I iron on either side first, then I quickly
wipe a lightly damp paper towel down the lenght of the slot(for me helps hole the
folded hinge cover inplace, then I do the same side hinge sides, I stick the tip of the
iron( not sure of the temp, but I test a scrap first) as far in as it'll go, but I do it quickly..
Then the other hinge side and then the other end... It's been working great so far..
I have been just using the cheap Tower clear.. Only because I won a roll in a raffle
but it has held up great... The hinge seal that's up a bit by the hinge... Well[:@] thats
a re-do, because of a re-shrink and also going over the hinge see... a no no

Ohh if you ever need to re-shrink you covering... stay away
from the hinge seal.. It tends to destroy the fit..... Don't ask[8D]

A great morning the "Do" did well, made another hole in the wing tip though.. Man with
all the holes I putting init, I should have waited instead of cutting holes to check on
my Vibration.... Guess that's what happens when you try to sqeeze another flight
in when you know the wind is coming up and you forget to put the pressure line back
in before taking off[:@]... Yep, I just lifted off rolled her as I normally do and the
engine went sour.. so I bank back up the runway, but it was just a bit too fast into the
wind(not really).. So I come up with the bright idea... yeah.. I can bank again going with
the wind which was up pretty good... well she made the turn but, "with the tail wind-
deadstick-little speed" means the plane wants down even for a great floater...
But it still came out pretty good
