FG36 is what is on the housing of the motors. Yeh, wiring guy told me that now too about the esc. bugger, more money. Doesn't matter.
In the mean time we are considering just putting the hydro in the cupboard for a while, and doing the single engine setup with what we have into the Highwind.
It is an easier boat to setup one engine and a rudder. And in standard trim, it is heaps faster than the hydro, so should be even better once modded.
That way i don't have to buy another esc either.
Why not use a big Brushless motor with a single rudder on the hydro? I personally do not believe it would be more difficult for the hydro vs mono.

A single motor setup will be much more efficient and faster.
