RE: Official RCU Fliton Inspire 60 build thread!
One piece of information I want to provide right away since it has been discussed here before is the landing gear. I emailed Fliton and asked them about it. Here is a quote directly from Fliton regarding the concern with the camber of the landing gear. That is that the bottom of the wheels point inward somewhat when the plane is initially completed.
Fliton writes:
"The majority of the questions we get about the Inspire 60 are in regards to the negative camber on the landing gears. Please advise that they were designed this way for structural integrity and to lighten the load off of the gear plate center. You will notice that the gears will bend into position over a short period of time. This has proven to be very successful thus far for us although it does look slightly abnormal at first build."
