Default RE: Performance DF ARF's

Thanks fellas for the info. Did not know about that French company listed above carrying the F22.

I have been flying pusher aerobatic jets (.76-.91 2c) and am making the transition to a DF now. I would like to go all out for performance on the next kit being this one. No one at the local field flys DF's that I know of this size, and we mostly fly privately. Curious as to the capable performance of the .91 DF combos in these birds...I imagine they are relatively close in speeds against their pusher jet cousins, but I was really looking for a step up in speed. Am I going to think something like an F-22 w/ .91 DF is sluggish against the lightweight aero pushers I'm used to? Or are these quite capable of 160mph+? Like I said turbines are where it's at and I know, just can't afford those dang things.

Somebody needs to make a cheap turbine and quite selling these things on the "ooh ahh" factor. (I just can't see the parts design layed out on a table being of any worth near what they bring in)
