Decided to completely change the power setup.

Stripped out the double motor belt drive single shaft and placed two shafts with a 550 motor direct drive to each shaft. Just ordered a LH and RH prop 40dia 1.4pitch.

The motors i placed back from the cg of the boat and 60mm apart from centre line, thanks fonzy for the advise on cg.

I intend to glue the top and bottom parts of the boat together to stop water leakage.

I have also stripped out the excess plastic inside the hull. saved 300g in weight.

Once complete i will try the boat with the Nicads 12v 3300mah. I will also try a Lipo pack to see if the saving in weight will make much difference.
