I almost never, use the hardware supplied by the manufacture on ANY ARF. Most push rods supplied are very soft and are metric junk. I found a few things wrong with the lainer edge, however, I would be hard pressed to say that Lainer blows compared to other manufactures. Look at the price tag on this plane.... How could you expect to get a grade A number one product if you did not pay top dollar for it. I think that the Lainer is a great performer and a very good value for the dollars paid.
