My friend has an MDS 40 engine (I bought an OS FX), and is having nothing but problems. The guys at the field have worked on it for three days and still problems.

As of now, MDS sent a replacement carburator. He has switched to Fox glow plugs.

The engine runs fine on the ground, including transition from low to high throttle. However, as soon as it gets up to altitude, the engine starts sounding rich, and then dies.

Any suggestions?
