I just maidened a Tower Trainer 40 (RTF Version) for a new flyer yesterday. This is the second person in the club that started with a Nexstar, and then after crashing, decided to get the Tower Trainer. He was ecstatic with the way it flew. Both flyers that switched to the TH Trainer from the Nexstar have been very glad they switched. It was easy to put together, only required a few clicks of trim to adjust, and handles so much better than the Nexstar. I'm not trying to shift this thread to Nexstar bashing. I have the first crashed Nexstar that I rebuilt as a demo plane (I'm an AMA Intro Pilot), and its OK. Its just not as well behaved as the Tower Trainer.
