Default RE: what kind of buggy for a 1st timer

titanium turnbuckles is very unnessisary because the normal turnbuckles do fine. The only buggy that comes with them stock is the Losi 8ight.

I'd stay away from shaft or pull starts. Both of these have a one-way bearing that can fail and some do very often. A starter-box will spin the flywheel directly leaving no room for failure or atleast very little.

As for the buggy I would stay away from the RTRs for sure. The hyper 7 TQ kit is a great buggy and its cheap ($200 on tower). Of course you need an engine, electronics, and starterbox after that still but paying the extra money is worth it for the quality. Keep in mind if you got the ofna RTR you'd be spending the same amount of money if not more while upgrading it to make it reliable and perform well. Of course the hyper 8 would be the upgrade and it drives a lot easier then the hyper 7 TQ but it still has the capability to drive faster then the hyper 7 while being easy to drive.
