If penzoil is so great why do the makers of 2 stroke outboard engines say by using it will void there warrantys on there engines? At least they did back in the 90's things may have changed now ??
More oil more drag on the piston and ring ,the only way I can see where more oil could possible get more performance is a better ring seal for higher compression.
Synthetic oils have been proven time and time again to oil better than fossil oils,why because the molecules are all the same size,Where as fossil oils aren't and the oil itself is just slicker than reg oil.I have seen it drop the temps on just about everything it has been used in, and used in engines as a rule a power gain can be noticed, how much depends on the engine .
But 100-1 to me is pushing things a bit far, 75-1 is as low as I care to go .And so far I have not had any problems.
