Hey Brian,
The sim crashes at various times. I can sometimes select a new plane or field to fly at and when I click "Fly" it crashes. Sometimes I just hit the button to select a new plane and it crashes.
This sounds like me several years ago when I was just learning to fly RC. Look at the Plane, and it crashes, taxi to the runway, and it crashes. Try to fly the Plane again and it crashes. Maybe the Sim actually is the most realistic. When you fly RC you have to have crashes! So to have a program that crashes often goes hand in hand with real world experience. Just Kidding of course! I would bet they will be comming out with some more patches soon to correct all the bugs the software has, or help deal with conflicts your machine might have with the software. In my case, I think it is just a case of not enough machine, even though the Recordings run smooth a silk, I've tried 4 different controllers, and have had my hair grow 3 inches while installing and reinstalling. The program looks good though, if you can get it to run right. They had a demonstrator setup in the Hobby Shop, and I flew it quite a bit there. Liked it so well, I bought it even though I have 3 other Sims.
