RE: Do fly it or not?
Ok here it is remember it works on my setup yours may be different depending on your plane but this is a standard flaperon setup for the 6102 JRTX
if you need the servos or arms in a different position you'll need to reverse the servo direction in some cases.
that is why I've said it a bunch DON"T install control horns or linkage until your sure it doing what your looking for it to do
and yes aileron differential is easy to set up with 6102
thanks for looking and good luck
ALWAYS test new flap setups 3 mistakes high saves on CA and monokote
JR 6102 aileron setup in flaperon mode
Don’t install the control arms or linkage until you’re happy with the radio setup
1. Radio set for flaperon mode
2. Flap switch in normal or flight position
3. Travel direction for aileron and flap servos “Normal”
4. Aileron and Flap trim 0
5. Aileron and Flap sub-trim 0
6. Flaperon differential 0
7. Flap system down 100%
8. Differential Flaperon 0% normal
9. RX channels for aileron servos left wing AUX1 right wing AILERON
I mount my servos with the drive towards the rear and the arms facing the fuselage
If you need another configuration you may need to do some reversing of the servos
Now with the flap switch in fight or off position the servos should travel equally in both directions
Aileron stick to the right- the right servo arm moves aft the left moves forward
When the stick is moved to the left the right arm moves forward and the left arm moves aft.
Now with the flap switch in LANDING position the servos should swing forward and aileron control will be offset meaning the side you push the stick toward will travel farther
TX aileron stick Right- left servo moves slightly forward the right move about twice as far aft
Move the stick to the left and the right servo moves slightly forward and the left servo moves about twice as far aft.
Once your sure the everything is working correctly return the flap switch to flight or OFF and install the control arms and linkage once that is done and working good you can adjust aileron differential from the DIFFERENTIAL screen in the radio setup
I hope this helps like I said don’t install the control arms and linkage until your sure it’s working the way it should that way you won’t have to call me all kind of names and other things
