How do you know your savage is shifting?
i had to turn my adjuster screw 2 full turns out from factory to get it to shift...very noticable, although you need to make sure you are tuned in good.as long as you can get a smooth , quick start out of the whole, clears out on top end, and don't get too hot, ur needle setting should be fine.trail of smoke clearly visible.
