My first pattern plane. A hobby barn Magic. I remember waiting months for it to arrive, with numerous calls that it would be sent out this week
Mine had a different lower engine cowl than the one pictured. More of a complete mold around the lower front of the plane as I remember. The wing sheeting was nice as well. Full 12 inch wide sheets of balsa. Three pieces lap jointed and glued to make a 12 inch wide piece.

Mine was a beauty all hand rubbed laquer but weighed a ton. Still it flew well at speed. Pretty nice in the rolling maneuvers. The odd behavior with rudder was with extreme rudder throws on mine. Knife edge was fine unless you added too much. Then it did some weird stuff.
