Default RE: FS one by Horizon Hobbies

Just my personal opinion, but even though Reflex looks better, I think FS One flys more like the real thing. Keep in mind that I have only had FS One since Friday, but as I dig into it I find little touches that I like.

For example, the Blade CP model in FS One. In real life when I power the Blade up to full throttle the tail rotor just can't keep up with the torque so I need to correct with a little rudder. The model in FS One has the same characteristic. Its spot on! My first FS One Blade CP flight felt just like the real thing. I have never found subtle effects like that in any other sim (and I own them all). The models in other sims seem to always fly perfect. They feel fake.

I have always said that sims are only good for learning the stick movements, they were not good as a true sim since they never flew like the real planes. Although I have not had FS One long enough to change my mind, yet, I can say that this is the longest I have flown a sim without starting to feel like it was a PC game instead of a training tool.

It's not perfect of course. I have crashing problems in the menus and the sound is a MESS. But I am confident that will be worked out. I feel that FS One is the best sim out there in the one area that counts the most. It feels right.
