Default Smoke Problem... Help!

Good Day all,

I'm operating a Brison 3.2 with a J&A muffler tapped for smoke.

I've drilled out the smoke nipple to a slightly larger diameter to allow a greater volume of smoke fluid into the muffler.

Here is the problem. The muffler/engine combination will only produce smoke at very LOW power settings (i.e. at idle, or just above idle). At medium or high power settings there is no smoke at all.

The pump is the variety that uses alternating crank case pressure on a diaphragm to pump the smoke fluid.

Does anybody have any insight into what is going on with this smoke set up?

Cheers,

Marcus
