yeah it gets fairly pricey.

charger: $200
balancer: $100

then on top of that, for this plane you'll need:
batteries: $320
speed control: $180
UBEC: $50

but no greasy mess, engine tuning, starting problems, greasy mess, fuel costs, greasy mess...
