Default RE: Baja tune pipe in process

this is what i said in a earlier post carpy,,,,,,,,,,The only real theory i was going on with the size of the "prototype" i am trying is a high rev top end pipe for a two stroke is often very long and with very little diameter of the expansion chamber like the two stroke boat pipes, and the indoor arena-cross quads that need all the torque they can get have a very short very large diameter expansion chamber to give max torque at low rpm's.

as far as the octane level of the fuel i am using, DDM recommends fuel with an octane rating of 95 or higher for the 29cc bore and stroke kit i have installed on my Baja. Where i live, there is two fuel stations where you can purchase 110 octane fuel at the pump, but very often the fuel sits for long periods of time because there isnt much call for other than in the racing season when the people going to race at the drag strip buy it. so during this time of year at the end of the season they try to let the tank run dry so the $6.59 a gallon fuel doesnt sit all winter and go bad, thats why i went to the cycle shop where they have the fuel in 55 gallon drums and the longest a drum lasts is about 2 weeks before it all gets used. I may have paid $9.50 for a gallon but i know it is top quality fuel in its purest form, and by the way its still cheaper than 20% nitro at $29 dollars a gallon
