Default RE: TMPro Extra 260 P 3D/Pattern ARF

ORIGINAL: fjaust

can't wait till i can get my hands on one of these. it will be my first 3d plane so i'm hoping it won't be too much to handle. it was a decision between this and the Extreme Flight Edge 540T but given that the TMpro is going to be available locally in Australia in a few weeks time (and I didn't get a response from an email I sent to Extreme Flight) i chose to go with the TMPro.

Now for a list of questions that i'm sure you guys could answer for me, me being a 3d n00b and all

I have an OS46AX with standard muffler to go on this, running 10% nitro - will this be a big enough engine for a 4.25lb plane? What sort of vertical performance could I expect with this engine? What would be the best prop to use?
I have JR ES539 standard servos (not metal gear) for it (4.8kg torque) - will they be enough or should i get higher torque MG servos?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hello Fjaust,

Good choice to stick with the TMpro planes, at this time I have four of them still in one piece. As far as servos goes you could use your standard servos, the OS46AX is more then enough power, the prop I use on the video was a APC 12.25x3.75 and if you would like to get more power out of the engine just increase your nitro. By the way it lands like a trainer, nice and slow.
