RE: Spectrum DX-7 ?
Already found one REALLY interesting thing.... it has a "trainer" function, and like the DX 6, it will accept other radio "trainer" inputs. When I was using the DX 6 earlier this year, I used the 10X as the "master", with DX in trainer mode. Worked great. Gave me all the mixing and control functions within the 10X programming, but limited to the 6 channels within the DX 6 at that time.
This guy, having 7 channels, and the dual-RX setup "approved" for bigger models means one could use the complex mixes (like for my Ultimate bipe) and make this work (almost)....using the model functions programmed from the 10X. Nobody wants to carry two tx's to the field, of course, but if one doesn't want to hack the RF board into their expensive JR trans, well, at least it's a way to get SEVEN channels working in the new RF mode.
Of course, the case back of the 9303 looks like it was made with consideration to have this RF board mounted under it, and the 9303 is darn near the "top" end of JR.... so I think we'll see some RF board hacks after this thing is availalbe.
