Oops!, Yup that thrust line wants to be kinda high on the firewall. I have the long one too. The long one places the centerline of the header about 2 1/4 inches out from the exhaust port. i think they make an extra long but i don't know how far it sticks out.

Defiately an easy arf to toss together! Mine came out to 4 pounds with standard servos small battery and the GMS 47. Some folks on RCU fuss about the power and weight, but no one who has seen mine fly has ever said anything like that...

I can't coment about the strength of landing gear welds. My UC fell off on thte second flight! ( the plastic caps are brittle ) we never did find them. might be worth a trip to the LHS for some DUBRO plastic straps.
